Many of us were entertained by Mr Ibu while growing up. He was undoubtedly one of the most talented and funniest Nigerian actors of all time.

John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu, transitioned from being a hairstylist to a photographer and later worked as an errand boy in a crate-producing company after dropping out of school due to financial difficulties.

Once he was financial stability, he returned to school to study management and technology. It was after this education that he discovered his passion for acting.

His desire to bring joy and happiness to people's lives led him to choose comedic roles, starring in movies like "Mr Ibu and Son" in 2004, a movie which gave him a new name in the entertainment industry .

Twenty years later, the legend has concluded the final chapter of his story 🕊️
