Closing a chapter, opening new possibilities!
Last week, the mDoc team joined partners at the close-out ceremony of the Implementation Research to Test Equitable Digital-First Care in Lagos — and we’re so proud to have been part of this journey!
Through community outreaches and Facebook campaigns, the project reached more than 2.9 million people across two waves and enrolled over 150,000 individuals, providing subsidised access to telehealth care.
mDoc’s NudgeHubs in Balogun, Epe, Ikorodu, Bariga, and Alaba brought care closer to underserved communities through our high-tech, high-touch model, delivering free health information, consultations, testing, and chronic disease management. The research validated what drives us at mDoc every day:
✨ Telehealth saves time and money
✨ Reduces travel burdens
✨ Reaches women and vulnerable groups more effectively
✨ Expands equitable access to primary healthcare
We’re excited to keep building on these insights as we scale digital-first care solutions to strengthen primary healthcare and advance health equity across Nigeria and beyond.
