Have you noticed that our mothers prefer respecting their pastors/prophets than their husbands.
A woman bought singlets and pants to her pastor while the husband has non to wear.
Her pastor came for a visit, she served him with two lapse of chicken and gizzard and she brought out the best wine 🍷 to entertain her pastor while she told her husband to go and take food by himself after she might have served the best part of the chicken that should be served to the husband to her pastor.

She called him Daddy(pastor), dust the chair that is already neat for him to sit.

Your husband will stand beside your pastor watching you shifting the love and care that should be given to him to your pastor.

Ignoring someone while they’re alive but mourning them in death is a form of emotional hypocrisy. Genuine connection cannot be manufactured after someone is gone, it must be nurtured while they’re still here. Grief without prior presence often stems more from guilt than love. Death doesn’t erase the silence or distance that existed in life. True relationships are built in presence, not absence. Waiting until someone is gone to show love is not only too late, it’s unfair to both you and them. If someone matters to you, let them know while you still have the chance. Kindness delayed is often kindness denied, and once they’re gone, you’re left with memories shaped by what you didn’t do, not just what you did.
