Hypertension, also known as high blood pressure, occurs when the force of blood against your artery walls is consistently too high. This condition often goes unnoticed until it causes serious health issues.

Normal vs Abnormal Blood Pressure:

Normal: Less than 120/80 mmHg 💚
Elevated: 120-129/80 mmHg 🟡
Hypertension Stage 1: 130-139/80-89 mmHg 🟠
Hypertension Stage 2: 140 or higher/90 or higher mmHg 🔴
Hypertensive Crisis: Higher than 180/120 mmHg (Seek immediate medical attention ⚠️)

What Causes Hypertension?

Poor diet (too much salt or unhealthy fats 🍟)
Lack of physical activity 🛋️
Chronic stress 😰
Family history (it can be hereditary 🧬)

Can It be Prevented? Yes!

1. Eat a healthy, balanced diet 🍎🥦
