Francis Odega has been in the industry since 1996. He was in Ọsụọfịa in London produced in 2003. He was also in Ndị Isi Ọkanga where Ọsụọfịa played as Honourable.

He was almost forgotten until one of his clips showed on the internet and people like 50 Cent and Tinie Tempah shared it on Instagram. This shot him to fame and he was signed by Etisalat as brand ambassador. The clip was from the movie "Back from South Africa."

Now let's go to his short biography.

Francis is from Anịọcha North, L.G. A of Delta State. He holds a bachelor's degree in Economics. He attended Ambrose Ali University, Ekpoma, Edo State.

He was amongst the first comedians of the popular Night Of A Thousand Laughs comedy show. He did standup comedy with people like Okay Bakassi and co.

In 2013, Francis won "Best Actor" award alongside Hlomla Dandala in the "Best African Collaboration" category at the 2013 Ghana Movie Awards.

The first movie he featured was "Apama" in 1996. He played the Apama role alongside Sam Loco Efe and others. The popular trend then: "Apama para m apara, buru m eburu."
