World day of the sick celebrated on February 11, 2026 was Chosen by Pope Leo XIV, to encourage prayer for the ill and their caregivers.
Here In St. Raphael Divine Mercy Specialist Hospital, our theme for the 34th World Day of the Sick, celebrated on February 11, 2026, is “Preventive health initiative through annual screening”.
The theme entails a structured and proactive healthcare approache designed to detect potential health issues in asymptomatic individuals, allowing for earlier intervention, better long-term health outcomes, and reduced healthcare costs. These programs aim to move from reactive treatment to proactive management of conditions like heart disease, cancer, diabetes, e.t.c.
During this period, there is also a 30% discount for surgeries and procedures.
