GENERAL QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS:
We've noticed that some parents are asking the same questions, so let's use this medium to answer some of them for the benefit of the parents and other potential clients.
Q1: "What do you teach (or which subjects do you teach)?"
Answer: We teach virtually all subjects to Nigerian students (except History, Geography, and Social Studies/Civic Education to foreign students). The core subjects we teach are: English Language/Literature, Mathematics/Further Mathematics, Basic Technology, Science, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, ICT/Tech (Coding), and lots more!
Q2: "Can you (or do you) teach students in any part of the world?"
Answer: Yes. As a matter of fact, we are currently tutoring students in the UK, USA, Nigeria, etc.
Q3: "Which Years/Grades do you teach?"
Answer: We teach different Years/Grades including post primary and post secondary school students. However, the Years/Grades vary across countries, e.g. for students in the UK, we teach Years 1 - 13. For students in the USA, we teach Grades 1 - 12; for students in Nigeria, we teach Primary 1 - S.S. 3, including post secondary students (undergraduates), etc.
Q4: "Do you prepare students for exams?"
Answer: Yes. We prepare students for exams e.g. NCEE, JSSCE, GCSE, PSAT, SAT, SSCE (WASSCE/NECO), UTME, etc.
Q5: "How exactly do you tutor the kids?"
Answer: Since our lessons are online lessons, we use video conferencing platforms to tutor the kids. There's no physical contact at all. In addition, we use the curriculum applicable to the location and Year/Grade of the student(s).
Q6: "Can parents occasionally join to observe the lessons?"
Answer: Yes, parents are free to join and ask questions at any time. We also have a monitoring and evaluation system to give feedback to the parents.
Q7: "Do tutors communicate directly with the students?"
Answer: No. All communications and correspondences are routed through the Founder/Coordinator who is the intermediary between the clients and the tutors.
Q8: "What if my kids don't have laptops, tablets or smart phones?"
Answer: We will fix the lessons to coincide with the time when the parent(s)/guardian will be at home. This is essential so that the kids can use the laptops or other digital devices of the parent(s)/guardian for the lessons.
Q9: "Can 2 or more kids use the same device at the same time?"
Answer: Yes, they can, provided using the same device wouldn't hamper their concentration during the lessons.
Q10: "What do the kids actually need for the lessons?"
Answer: A computer system (preferably laptop), or smartphone/tablet, stable Internet connection, writing materials, noiseless and well-lit environment.
Q11: "Suppose I have 2 or more kids at different Years/Grades that require different lessons for different subjects at different times? Also remember we're on different timezones"
Answer: Easy peasy! We can easily handle that, just tell us what you want and leave the rest to us. We currently have a US client with 4 kids, no conflicts at all.
Q12. "Do you accept payment by installments?"
Answer: No, but, on rare occasions, we could accept 2 installments if the first installment will be greater than 80% of the total.
Q13: "What happens if it's impossible for a scheduled lesson to hold?"
Answer: We will reschedule the lesson provided we are notified at least 12 hours before the time of the lesson.
Q14: "How long does each lesson last and what's the rate?"
Answer: 1 hour ± 10 extra minutes (refer to the attached flyer for the rates and other details).
Q15: "Do you offer any discount or freebies to your clients?"
Answer: Yes. We offer 10% discount to clients with 2 or more kids. 20% discount for all January 2026 clients, and the first lessons for all the kids will be free!
