Introducing The ReMind Foundation
The ReMind Foundation was born from a simple but painful truth: many people receive medical care for their bodies while their minds are ignored.
In hospitals and communities across Nigeria, patients living with long-term illness often struggle with stress, fear, anxiety, and sadness. Yet mental health is rarely treated as part of care.
That is the gap The ReMind Foundation exists to fill.
Why we exist:
Because the mind and body are deeply connected, and treating one without the other leads to poor outcomes, repeat hospital visits, and silent suffering.
What we do:
We promote mental health as part of everyday medical care through:
▪️Hospital and community outreach
▪️Mental health education and awareness
▪️Early screening and referrals
▪️Support for patients and health workers
▪️Advocacy for integrated care
How we do it:
By working directly in hospitals, partnering with health workers, and using simple, human language that removes fear and shame around mental health.
Where we’re going:
Starting in Nigeria, with a long-term vision to expand across Africa, building systems where mental health is treated as basic healthcare, not an afterthought.
This is just the beginning.
We are currently building our volunteer team.

Let’s heal people - wholly.
