YOCEN is a Pan-African, development-driven initiative that emerged from the collective resolutions reached during the 3rd Annual Youth/Students’ Summit of the All-African Students’ Union (AASU), held in 2019 at Monrovia, Liberia.

The organization recognizes that education is the cornerstone of societal development, and that every child—regardless of background or circumstance—deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.

When Seeking Medical Help Becomes Another Source of Pain: Restoring Empathy and Humanity in Healthcare Practice (Part 2)

This isn’t just my story — it’s the experience of countless patients who have been ignored or underestimated.
Healthcare must do better.

No one should ever have to fight to be believed about their own pain. My journey has taught me the importance of speaking up, seeking answers, and never settling for dismissive care. We deserve to be heard. We deserve to be cared for with compassion. Healthcare should see people — not just symptoms. 💛

I hope this encourages someone out there to trust their body, keep advocating for themselves, and never let anyone silence their experience.
Together, we can create the change we want to see. 💛
