NO OFFENCE IS GOOD ENOUGH TO DESTROY (PART 3).

Acts 23:12-15 (KJV)...... And when it was day, certain of the Jews banded together, and bound themselves under a curse, saying that they would neither eat nor drink till they had killed Paul.

[13] And they were more than forty which had made this conspiracy .

[14] And they came to the chief priests and elders, and said, We have bound ourselves under a great curse, that we will eat nothing until we have slain Paul.

[15] Now therefore ye with the council signify to the chief captain that he bring him down unto you to morrow, as though ye would enquire something more perfectly concerning him: and we, or ever he come near, are ready to kill him.

Our theme scripture reveals to us the level and depth people can go to in order to carry out their mission on a person. If this was not written in the Bible, you won’t know it’s possible and that it happened, but it was written for our learning too.

Some people leave a church and would not let the church rest in peace. You are the one that left without being chased out nor disgraced, but you won’t leave in peace. They meet and plan on how to pull the man or woman of God down. They meet and plan on how to turn the church upside down.

What is the offence of the church or the leader of the church? What do you think he or she has done that warrants this depth of wickedness? Maybe you are reading this today, and for some reason they have also consulted you. I urge you to refuse because God will not take it lightly with his judgement.

It is shocking to know that these same people, at one time, were shouting that this house is their house and the man or woman of God is their life and last bus stop. Never give in to the praises of men because the same mouth that shouted 'Hosanna' was the same mouth that shouted 'crucify him'.

Man is so unstable, but no offence is good enough to destroy. Be guided.

Prayer:
I will live and die for Christ and from my heart shall proceed no evil thoughts or plan against the church or God’s anointed. Amen.

Psalm 37:12 (KJV)..... The wicked plotteth against the just, And gnasheth upon him with his teeth.

You must and should accept this truth: There are people who are not happy that you are happy; there are people who are not happy that you are still alive; there are people who are not happy that something good is still happening to you. There are people who are not happy that you are being given a platform and that you are still relevant.

There are people who are not happy that our church is still operating; there are people who are not happy that their pastor is still alive and with his family. The question today is this: what is his offence?

Child of God, evil exists in the church of Jesus Christ, and people plot against each other in the church.
Leaders plot against leaders and pastors against pastors, but the truth is this: there is no offence good enough that warrants taking the life of another or cutting the source of joy.

Psalm 2:1-3 (KJV)....... Why do the heathen rage, And the people imagine a vain thing?

[2] The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, Against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,

[3] let us break their bands asunder, And cast away their cords from us.

Some people claim they won’t rest until they avenge the wrong done to them, and their own way of avenging the wrong done to them is by scattering the church or destroying the man of God or people of God.

This is the truth: No man who does this against the church or against the man of God will have peace, whether he succeeds or not. Therefore, be warned.

Prayer:
Lord, we ask for your mercy and grace upon your church and her leaders all over the world that you keep and shield them continually. Amen.

John 11:46-48 (KJV).... .But some of them went their ways to the Pharisees, and told them what things Jesus had done.

[47] Then gathered the chief priests and the Pharisees a council, and said, What do we? for this man doeth many miracles .

[48] If we let him thus alone, all men will believe on him: and the Romans shall come and take away both our place and nation.

We live in a wicked and unforgiving time, and people are developing into something that can scare you. The enemy is building something huge against the church, and he is using human beings all over the world to carry out his intentions and plans.

The level of wickedness and evil we hear of today all over the world being meted out towards people who serve God, especially men and women of God, is alarming, and it is for this reason we are to pray for ministers all over the world and their families for God's protection over them.

A man of God was sharing with me an incident that happened in South Africa, how some group of men attended service just like everyone else and waited to see the man of God after the service to share their testimonies, and they were allowed. And the next thing they heard was a silent sound, and by the time the people went in to check, they met the man of God lying lifeless on his seat. He was shot by this group of men.

What happened? What did he do to warrant this kind of treatment? I tell you, children of God, no offence in this life is worth taking the life of another, but that goes to show the extent of wickedness in the hearts of men.

May the Lord help us in Jesus name.

Prayer:
Heavenly father, I call on you for your mercy and I cry that you help shield all believers and ministers of the gospel worldwide from the hands of wicked and unreasonable men in Jesus name. Amen.

THE LORDSHIP OF CHRIST (PART 4)

Romans 8:14 (KJV)..... For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

The last and final arm of the Lordship of Christ is what I call THE LORDSHIP OF SPIRIT. This is where the believer comes under the control, rulership and dominion of the Spirit. Without the ministry of the Spirit, there is no true submission to the Lordship of Christ.

Galatians 3:3 (KJV)......Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?

How do you explain a believer who has been in Christ for more than 20 years, even as a leader or a song minister, and after a while, he or she leaves the church for some personal issues? And now you heard he or she now attends a particular church where they offer sacrifice, or he or she is now back in the world.

What happened? Such a person was only pretending and never truly submitted to the Lordship of the Spirit because John 6:63 KJV says

[63] it is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life .

To have the Holy Spirit living in you and to come under his Lordship are not the same. He can give you a language to communicate with, which is speaking in tongues. But do you hear him? If you claim you know him, how do you still get angry? If you really know him, why the unforgiveness, bitterness, envy, jealousy, malice, stealing, fornicating, prayerlessness and leaving the church?

Submit today and have peace. Be wise.

Prayer:
Lord, I am sorry and I pledge to submit to the Lordship of the Spirit in all things from today in Jesus name. Amen.
