My heart must have received an extra 10 years with the joy of last night's Super Falcons' victory over their Moroccan counterparts.

It was a great show of resilience, power, and discipline. It was a refusal to be daunted by the noise from around the stadium. It was a show of great inner strength coming from what looked like obvious defeat to eventual victory.

My joy is full. Nigerians have something to be grateful for. The victory rekindled something in all our hearts.

Thank you to the Super Falcons. Thank you to our dear Coach. Ope wa po.

Above all, thank you, Lord, for giving us this victory. That arm band Captain Ajibade wore said it all. JESUS IS KING INDEED.
