As today is also designated as world aids day, we at Oscam would love to share some few informations about what world aids day is all about.

World Aids day was founded in 1988 and december 1'st has been an international day dedicated to raising awareness of the AIDS pandemic caused by the spread of HIV infection and mourning those who have died of the disease.

There are an estimated 38 million people who have the virus and about 35 million people have died of HIV or AIDS related illnesses.
It’s an opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV, to show support for people living with HIV, and to commemorate those who have died from an AIDS-related illness.

Remember to show some love to those living with the virus today and continue creating awareness about it's precautions to curtail the spread of the virus.
