During our medical outreach and awareness program in Gyadovilla community, Makurdi, Benue State, our survey revealed alarming gaps in knowledge and access to healthcare. Specifically, we found that:

- A significant percentage of the community lacked proper information about hepatitis and its risks.
- Many individuals were not tested or treated due to limited access to testing opportunities.
- A substantial number had not received vaccinations.

These findings highlight the urgent need for education, accessible testing, and vaccination programs. EMPOWERING COMMUNITIES THROUGH HEALTH AWARENESS.

We're thrilled to share highlights from our recent outreach program at Gyado Villa community in Makurdi, where we conducted FREE Hepatitis testing, engaging health talks, and community enlightenment on the importance of Medical Laboratory Services in health care.

Our team of dedicated Laboratory Medicine students from Father Adasu University Makurdi, alongside experienced Medical Laboratory Scientists from BSUTH, worked tirelessly to ensure the success of this event. From testing to counseling, our team played various roles, gaining invaluable hands-on experience while serving the community.

The massive turnout from the community is a testament to their eagerness for quality healthcare services. We emphasized the crucial role of Medical Laboratories in:

Preventing antimicrobial resistance.
Providing defined and evidence-based treatment.
Enhancing patient care and outcomes.

At Health Preach Global, we're committed to making a difference and empowering communities to KNOW AND LIVE IN GOOD HEALTH. We're grateful for the opportunity to serve Gyado Villa community in Makurdi and look forward to our next outreach!
