AMB. Nmaa Ahmed FOUNDATION SPREADS JOY AND SUPPORT TO PATIENTS AT GENERAL HOSPITAL MINNA

In a heartwarming display of kindness and generosity, the Amb. Abubakar Nmaa Ahmed (Bulaman Minna) Foundation paid a courtesy visit to patients at General Hospital Minna, celebrating the Sallah festivities with a special gesture of goodwill.

The foundation donated cash to approximately 100 patients, bringing smiles to their faces and reaffirming the organization's commitment to social welfare and community development inline with the agenda of the principal Amb. Abubakar Nmaa Ahmed .

This noble initiative is a testament to the foundation's dedication to reintegrating basic amenities and making a positive impact on the lives of those in need.

The visit was a poignant reminder of the importance of kindness, compassion, and community service, especially during significant celebrations like Sallah.

Dr. Amb. Nmaa Attends Strategic Workshop on Agricultural Policy Development in Niger State

I was a special guest at a pivotal two-day workshop dedicated to the presentation of preliminary findings for the formulation of key agricultural frameworks in Niger State.

The workshop focused on three major policy areas: the development of the Niger State Policy on Agriculture, the Niger State Agricultural Investment Plan, and the Niger State Gender Policy on Agriculture.

Bringing together stakeholders from across the agricultural sector, the event aimed to lay a strong foundation for inclusive, sustainable, and investment-driven agricultural development in the state.

I commended the initiative and reiterated the importance of collaborative efforts in shaping policies that will drive food security, youth empowerment, and gender inclusion in agriculture.

Governor Umaru Bago Commences Construction of 55km Gulu-Evuti-Lambata Road Under RAAMP

In a monumental stride towards rural development and agricultural revitalization, Governor Umaru Bago has awarded and commenced work on the 55km Gulu-Evuti-Lambata Road under the Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP). This initiative marks a turning point for the residents of Lapai Local Government Area, who have endured decades of hardship due to the deplorable state of the road.

For years, farmers in the area have suffered immense losses, with millions of naira worth of produce wasted annually due to the poor condition of the Gulu-Evuti-Lambata (Muye axis) road. The challenges have been particularly severe for the people of Azza, who often leave their vehicles in Lapai and rely on commercial transport to avoid damage to their cars. Travel times that should ideally take less than an hour have frequently stretched to 3-4 hours in the dry season and even longer during the rains.

However, relief is now in sight. The road project, which will be executed as a double-coat surface dressing for durability and ease of access, aligns with Governor Bago’s ambitious rural development agenda. This development brings renewed hope to farmers, traders, and residents, promising better market access and significant economic growth.

The Director General of RAAMP, Ambassador Nmaa Ahmed, expressed his commitment to ensuring the project's timely and efficient ex*****on. He noted that this project is not just about infrastructure but about transforming the livelihoods of rural communities, and bridging the gap between rural areas and economic hubs, enabling smoother movement of goods and services.

Governor Umaru Bago’s administration remains focused on rural transformation, and this project is a testament to his resolve. With the active involvement of RAAMP, led by Ambassador Nmaa Ahmed, the Gulu-Evuti-Lambata road will soon become a symbol of progress and development for Niger State.

On the operationalization of RARA and SRF.
