👶🏽 CHILDHOOD MALNUTRITION — HOW TO SPOT IT & PREVENT IT! 💔

Let’s be real… sometimes a child looks “okay” on the outside, but deep down, their body is crying for help. 😔
Malnutrition doesn’t always mean a child is skinny — sometimes, the signs hide in plain sight.

Here’s what to look out for 👇🏽

⚠️ Constant tiredness or lack of energy

⚠️ Frequent illness or slow recovery

⚠️ Dry skin, brittle hair, or swollen belly

⚠️ Slow growth compared to other kids

⚠️ Poor focus or dullness in school

These little signs may seem normal, but they’re not. A child’s body needs more than just food — it needs nutrients that build life. 🍎🥦🍗

💡 So how can we prevent it?

✅ Give balanced meals — not just quantity, but quality.

✅ Add fruits, veggies, and protein to every meal.

Ever grabbed a snack thinking it’s healthy because the front says “low fat” or “natural”? 😅
Well… not so fast! 🧐

Let’s flip that pack and see what’s really inside 👀

👉 “Low fat” – might mean high sugar!

👉 “No added sugar” – doesn’t mean sugar-free. They could use sweeteners or fruit concentrates instead.

👉 “Natural flavor” – still made in a lab. Yep, you read that right!

👉 “Zero trans fat” – could still contain some, just under the labeling limit.

👉 Unpronounceable ingredients? That’s your cue to pause and think.

Food labels can be tricky, but once you learn to read them, you take back control of what goes into your body 💪🥦

So next time you go shopping, don’t fall for the front labels turn that pack around and be the smart eater you are! 🧠✨

Always feeling tired even after a “good” night’s sleep?😩
You drag yourself out of bed, yawn through the day, and no amount of coffee seems to fix it... 💤

But wait could it be your diet? 🤔

Yep! Sometimes, your energy level has less to do with sleep and everything to do with what’s on your plate. 🍽️

👉 Skipping breakfast? You’re running on empty.

👉 Eating too many sugary snacks? Hello, quick energy crash! 🍬

👉 Not drinking enough water? Your body is waving a dehydration flag 🚩

👉 Lacking iron, B-vitamins, or protein? Your cells are literally begging for fuel.

SKIPPING MEALS? YOUR BODY ISN’T SMILING 😅🍽️

Let’s be honest… some students treat breakfast like an optional course 😭 — “I’ll just grab something later,” and later never comes!

But guess what? When you skip meals, your body starts sending you signals like a low-battery phone 🔋 — headache, dizziness, zero focus, and that unnecessary anger that makes you shout at innocent people 😂.

Skipping meals doesn’t make you sharp or save time. It only makes your brain confused and your stomach start planning revenge 🙃.

You need food to think, to stay alert in class, and to actually remember what you read. Because how will you even “read to understand” when your brain is busy begging for jollof rice? 🍛😅

So please, eat something. Even if it’s not a full meal, grab fruit, bread, or anything decent. Don’t starve yourself in the name of “I’m busy.”
Energy is the real secret to smartness 😉💪

🍕🌭 FAST FOOD LOVERS, GATHER HERE! 😅

We all love that quick suya at night, the roadside puff-puff, or a hot plate of noodles from our favorite spot. Fast food is life, right? 💃 But wait… have you ever thought about what could be “hiding” inside that food apart from the taste? 👀

🔎 Research has shown that many fast foods can get contaminated with fungi yes, those tiny organisms that cause food spoilage. Some common ones like Aspergillus or Candida don’t just make food smell funny; they can release toxins that mess with your stomach, skin, and even organs. 🤢

The worst part? Most of this happens because of:

✨ Poor hygiene by vendors

✨ Dirty cooking environments

✨ Leaving food exposed too long

Now let’s be honest we know fast foods aren’t going anywhere anytime soon 😂. But if you had to choose, would you rather:

👉 Keep buying your favorite street snacks without worrying, OR
