Good day distinguished audience. Welcome to the official page of members of the Sdg group for Ogoja serving corp members in Cross River State.
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a set of 17 global goals adopted by the United Nations in 2015 to promote peace, prosperity, and environmental protection. They aim to address pressing issues such as poverty, inequality, climate change, and social injustice by 2030.
The SDGs are:
Goal 1: No Poverty - eradicate all forms of poverty in the community.
Goal 2: Zero Hunger - remove hunger and malnutrition.
Goal 3: Good Health and Well-Being - ensure healthy lives and well-being for all.
Goal 4: Quality Education - achieve inclusive and equitable quality education.
Goal 5: Gender Equality - achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls.
Goal 6: Clean Water and Sanitation - ensure clean water and sanitation for all.
Goal 7: Affordable and Clean Energy - ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy.
Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth - achieve economic growth and decent work for all.
Goal 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure - build resilient infrastructure, promote sustainable industrialization and foster innovation.
Goal 10: Reduced Inequalities - reduce inequalities within and among countries.
Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities - make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable.
Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production - rationalize consumption and production patterns.
Goal 13: Climate Action - combat climate change and its impacts.
Goal 14: Life Below Water - conserve marine resources for sustainable development.
Goal 15: Life On Land - protect, restore and promote sustainable terrestrial ecosystems.
Goal 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions - ensure peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development.
Goal 17: Partnerships to achieve the Goal - strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development.
