GOVERNOR ODODO COMMISSIONS IHIMA MOSQUE, URGES UNITY AND PEACE

Yesterday, I, Hon. Ismaila AbdulMalik, Chairmanship Candidate of Okehi Local Government Area, APC, had the honor of attending the commissioning of a newly renovated mosque in IHIMA, Okehi Local Government Area, Kogi State. The ceremony was officiated by His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmad Usman Ododo, the Governor of Kogi State.

The mosque was renovated and rehabilitated by Hon. Dedat Ozigi, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs. Governor Ododo commended the commissioner's efforts, describing the project as a significant contribution to the spiritual and social development of the IHIMA community.

In his address, Governor Ododo emphasized the importance of unity and peace in the community. He admonished the people of IHIMA to remain focused, united, and peaceful, stressing that the primary purpose of building mosques is for the worship of Allah, not for political ambitions or the pursuit of positions.

I am thrilled to congratulate the IHIMA community for having a leader like Hon. Dedat Ozigi, who has demonstrated commitment to the development of Islamic religion in the area. The renovation of the mosque will undoubtedly encourage Muslims to worship and practice their faith with ease.

During the event, I had the opportunity to meet with Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and Commissioner Dedat Ozigi, who offered me prayers and words of advice ahead of the forthcoming local government chairmanship elections.

*HON. KING HABIB EMPOWERS ELDERLY CITIZENS IN IHIMA DISTRICT OF OKEHI LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA.*

Yesterday, I had the privilege of attending the Cash Support Outreach Empowerment Program organized by Hon. King Habib, Special Adviser to the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmad Usman Ododo, in Ihima, Okehi Local Government Area.

The program, which targeted elderly individuals in the community, demonstrated the commitment of the Kogi State government to empowering its citizens, particularly the most vulnerable. The beneficiaries expressed heartfelt gratitude to Hon. King Habib for the initiative, which has undoubtedly brought joy and relief to them.

I commend Hon. King Habib for his efforts in ensuring that the grassroots benefit from the dividends of democracy. His dedication to the welfare of the people is truly commendable. I describe him as a good representative and an industrious son of Okehi Local Government Area.

I, Hon. Ismaila AbdulMalik, Okehi LG APC Chairmanship candidate, was honored to be part of the delegation that paid a courtesy visit to His Royal Majesty, Alhaji Dr. Ahmad Tijani Muhammed Anaje, the Ohinoyi of Ebira.

The royal father warmly received us and prayed for our success in the forthcoming general election and our tenure in office. His Royal Majesty also prayed for the prosperity of Kogi State and Kogi Central.

Notably, His Royal Majesty blessed the former Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, and the incumbent Governor, Alhaji Ahmad Usman Ododo. We, the APC Chairmanship candidates, expressed our heartfelt gratitude to the royal father for his hospitality, blessings, and prayers.
