🎉 Welcome Back to School! 🎉

We’re so excited to kick off another school year (2025/2026 session) with our TOPYouth In-School Clubs activities where we meet secondary school students weekly to:
📖 Provide academic support in English and Mathematics
✝️ Share the life-changing message of the Gospel
💡 Equip them with entrepreneurial skills to build a brighter future

Since 2022, over 2,000 children have been impacted, and this is just the beginning! 🙌

🌟 SEND-FORTH CELEBRATION 🌟

We joyfully invite you to join us as we celebrate Aer Jude Terfa, a LIFE ESY Missionary Intern/Asst. LG Director, for his one year of dedicated service and impactful contributions to the mission of TOPYouth in reaching out to the children at Igbara Oke and Ipogun communities.

📅 Date: Wednesday, 20th August 2025
🕓 Time: 4:00pm
📍 Venue: NCCF Family House Annex, Igbara Oke, Ondo State

This programme is a way of appreciating him for his passion, love, and commitment towards impacting the lives of the children.

"Learning doesn’t always have to come from books."

We're so inspired by the words of one of our past mentors Ojonugwa James who taught a baking class!

Read her full story:

My experience with students during the baking class was a big joy and a personal achievement. I never imagined that I would be given the opportunity to teach students about baking—something I truly enjoy and love doing. Thanks to the TAC program, I was able to explore this passion.

When the classes began, I was curious and a bit anxious about how things would turn out. Would the students be interested? Would it get messy? Well, it did get messy! After mixing all the ingredients for the cake, we placed it in our local oven. The cake was supposed to bake for 45 minutes, but it ended up taking over an hour. I sensed something was wrong, so I left the class and went to another one to pray about the cake. After praying, I returned to the baking class and checked on it—it was ready!

The students were so excited to see the finished cake. We shared it among ourselves, and everyone enjoyed it. Watching them eat the cake with so much joy made me feel so fulfilled.

What surprised me the most was that my Place of Primary Assignment (PPA) was a Muslim school. I had invited my students to come for the class, and they did. I thought they might come wearing their hijabs, but they didn’t. That moment showed me that this class wasn’t just about baking treats—it was about creating a space for kids to explore, create, and feel capable.

The experience reminded me of that learning doesn’t always have to come from books. Sometimes, it comes from hands-on experiences that leave lasting memories.

Her story is a perfect example of how our programs create spaces for children to explore, create, and feel capable.

We celebrate two of our outstanding TOPYouth In-School Club Directors who successfully completed their Passing Out Parade on August 7, 2025— Bro. Adewuyi Moronkeji and Sis. Doreen Osumah.

During their service year at Igoba Community High School, Akure, they made significant contributions to the lives of the students, impacting them spiritually, morally, academically, and entrepreneurially. Their dedication and passion have left lasting imprints on the hearts of the children they served.

As they move forward into the next chapter of their journey, we pray that the Lord will open greater doors of opportunity for them in high places. Having served the nation faithfully, may nations also rise to serve them in Jesus name. Wherever they go, may the grace of God continually surround them.

We sincerely appreciate your labour of love and commitment to the growth of TOPYouth. May the Lord honour you abundantly. Amen.
