Mary Elms Mission Hospital
The Ultra Modern Hospital in the Diocese on the Niger, Mary Elms Mission Hospital, Odoakpu Onitsha is a massive hospital built and funded by the Women's Ministry of the Diocese ably led by Pharm. Dr. Elsie Nonyelum Nwoloko ( Mama Niger).
It's well equiped, aiming at giving the best and affordable health care to both people within the state and abroad.
The Hospital is currently running her Free medical outreach aimed at affecting the lives of 200 persons per archdeaconry out of all communities in each of the 19 Archdeaconries in the Diocese on the Niger.
The Bishop on the Niger, Rt. Rev. Dr. Owen Chiedozie Nwokolo appending his signate of approval and episcopal seal has allowed all churches to gain access to this great opportunity.
Currently, The President of the Women's Ministry Diocese on the Niger, Pharm. Dr. Elsie Nonyelum Nwokolo (Mama Niger) has proposed to make this available to 4000 persons both young and old in the Diocese on the Niger. Free buses are also made available to move the sick persons to the hospital and back to their various locations.
This free medical care excercise will last for a period of one month and ends once the mission have reached all Archdeaconries.
This mission is first to those in the Rural Archdeaconries and then it proceeds to the Urban Archdeaconries.
The hospital has given free medications to people of various rural communities namely; Ogbunike, Awkuzu, Umunya, Nkwelle, Nteje, Oba, Ojoto, Nnobi, Oraukwu, and Nnokwa communities. While
Tomorrow being Friday 16th of September we will welcome the sick persons from Awka-Etiti Communities and environs.
