On the 27th of June 2024, The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Members serving their fatherland in Olode, Ife South Local Government Area of Osun State paid a familiarization visit to the palace of the King 👑 (Olu of Ayepe Olode) HRM. ALH. YEKINI OMISORE.
The Corp Members engaged in a tour round the town ably led by one of the prominent chief in the palace Chief. Barr. Adeyemi. Some of the places visited includes some significant places such as the palace, the tomb of the first king of Olode, the heart of the town, the first primary school, the first church known as African church which unites all religions regardlessly of their faith, the sacred stream (Odò gbàrọ), the first cocoa seller's resident, Canaan land (The Christ Apostolic Church National Overseer's Prophet HEZEKIAH OLADELE church and praying ground) The market scene...etc

What a wonderful day to witness the sport female football competition first of it kind organised by great corpers of olode ife South nysc, from the kick off to the final it a very sweet memory never wanted to be forgotten, thanks to the corpers, thanks to the nysc officials, thanks to all indigenous supporters, thanks to the FA olode chairman and his member for their support, and also a great level of gratitude to the chairman omo Alahjah of olode LCDA and also his personal assistant Mr David. Also to all the participated schools thanks.
