A type of nerve damage that can occur with diabetes.
The condition most often affects the legs and feet. For some people, symptoms are mild. For others, symptoms can be painful, debilitating and even fatal. And this condition comes with numbness of the feet, since most times you can feel anything, you may not know if there is an injury at the foot.
