Some people will tell you not to drink cold water when you’re pregnant because “it will give your baby pneumonia.

Please, that’s not true o 😅. Your baby is safely tucked inside your womb, not directly connected to your throat or chest.

Cold water doesn’t reach your baby in that way; it simply goes into your digestive system like every other drink.

So, if cold water helps you feel refreshed, especially on hot days or during those pregnancy heat waves, enjoy it; just don’t overdo it to the point of feeling chilled or catching a cold yourself.

Remember, pneumonia comes from infections, not from cold drinks. So, relax and sip that water without fear. 💧✨

During pregnancy, your placenta can attach to different parts of your uterus; either anterior, meaning at the front wall, or posterior, meaning at the back wall.

Both are perfectly normal positions as long as the placenta isn’t lying too low or covering the cervix (a condition called placenta previa).

When the placenta is anterior, it sits between your baby and your belly, which can make you feel your baby’s kicks a little later or softer than someone whose placenta is attached at the back.

But don’t worry, it doesn’t harm your baby or affect your pregnancy.

From around 28 weeks of pregnancy, your baby’s movements become more regular, and this is something you can start keeping track of. 🍼

You should normally feel about 10 movements )kicks, rolls, or wiggles) within 2 hours when your baby is usually active. Some babies move faster, others take their time, but the key is knowing what’s normal for your own baby.

If you notice your baby moving much less than usual or not at all, don’t wait it out, go to the hospital or call your midwife immediately. It might mean your baby needs a little help.

So yes, every kick counts, it’s your baby’s way of talking to you! 💖

My October team mum just put to bed yesterday; congratulations to her! 💐

To the remaining October team mummies, I pray that God grants you safe and joyful deliveries in Jesus’ Name. 🙏
This blessing also extends to all November and December team mummies.

And to everyone waiting to birth something this season, whether you’re pregnant or not, male or female; here’s a word for you:
Isaiah 66:8 “As soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.”

You shall bring forth those things you’ve been praying and believing God for this season, in Jesus’ Name. AMEN! 🙏🔥

Those fruits might look clean and innocent, but trust me, you don’t know what hands have touched them before they reached you.

Here’s how to wash them properly:

🍎 Rinse under running water: Even if the label says “pre-washed,” please still rinse properly under clean running water. No lazy washing, abeg.

🍉 Use a brush for strong fruits: For firm ones like watermelon or even Irish potatoes, grab a little veggie brush and scrub gently — let those fruits shine joor!

🍌 Cut off bruised parts: Any part that looks tired or dented? Chop it off. Bacteria love to hide there like uninvited guests.

🚫 No soap or detergent o: Please don’t turn your fruits to laundry. Just water is enough. Soap or bleach can be harmful if swallowed.

❄️ Store wisely: Once washed, keep them in the fridge and far away from raw meat. We’re not mixing fruit salad and meat stew here, biko.

Clean fruits = happy mum + safe baby 💕

👌🙌🙏

Most times it's not that mothers don't care but because no one told them what they need to look out for.
