The Imo State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Chioma Egu, on Tuesday led the World Tuberculosis Day commemoration in Owerri, calling for sustained action to eliminate TB.
The programme, organised by the Office of the First Lady of Imo State and the Ministry of Health, in collaboration with NTBLCP and the Catholic Caritas Foundation of Nigeria, featured a road walk and free TB screening to promote awareness and early detection.
Dr. Egu commended Her Excellency, Barr. Chioma Uzodimma, FIMC, CMC, First Lady of Imo State and Founder, GoodHope Women Flourish, for her strong support.
