Just wanted to say this, people have been making all kinds of comments.

But to everything, we give glory to God.

Nobody is talking about how well our players tried by making it to the finals.

I'm super proud of my country and those players are good and really did awesome, I'm proud of Super eagles 💪💪💪

This feeling of disappointment and defeat is all too familiar to me.

I've been here before, hoping against hope and facing disappointment. But I've learned that losing a race is not the end of the world.

During the match, someone commented on how the Super Eagles weren't playing well.

I responded, "It may seem that way because the Ivory Coast team is putting up a tough fight."

Just because we didn't win doesn't mean the players didn't give their all. They were just up against strong competition.

So is it in the journey of life - losing or facing rejection doesn't always mean you didn't try your best. Oftentimes it means you were facing a tougher challenge.

Nigerians, we may have lost today, but that doesn't define us as losers. We made it to the finals, after all.
