The OPITO H2S course is a required course meant for employees who work in the oil and gas industry and who may be at risk of being exposed to H2S. H2S is a dangerous gas that, with high concentrations, could lead to serious damage. Working in an environment where there is a possibility of H2S being released is very risky. That’s why it’s crucial that employees learn what the risks are and know how to act in emergency situations.

The H2S OPITO training consist of a theoretical part and a practical part. What primarily will be discussed during this course is recognizing H2S, knowing which risks and dangers exist and learning how to act when H2S is released.
