It can be so tempting to point to past hurts and say, “All my issues can be linked back to what other people did to me.”

Trust me. I know. But God doesn’t want us to stay stuck blaming others and never experience the healing we need.

He wants to heal us and help us move forward. He will fill in the gaps left by people. Through His promises, we can be reassured of all those things we wish others would have said or done. His love for us is deep, unwavering, and certain.

And the only thing that will stop the desperation, uncertainties, and insecurities is to realize that those who unfairly rejected us were putting their hurt on display more than making a defining statement about us.

Just because someone projected hurt onto you doesn’t mean you have to carry it the rest of your life or let it define you. What they did doesn’t mean you only deserve scraps of love from others.

You are fully known and loved by a God whose greatest joy is to be with you. I pray these truths flood your heart with peace like they do mine.

Peace that permits you to live like you are loved. Because you are: deeply, abundantly, unfailingly.

Anxiety/depression cannot coexist with gratitude.

In everything, give thanks to God.
Worrying and murmuring has never solved a problem.

God wants you to trust him and staying thankful is one of the ways you demonstrate your faith in God's sovereignty and might.

So, instead of giving in to those negative thoughts, give thanks. Steady your mind on God.

He's FAITHFUL.

Shalom!

I remember trusting God for a strategic relationship some years ago, and when it came along, suddenly, I started speaking negatively about myself.

I think I was trying to come off as a tough lady so I used words to hide my true identity and character.

Then one day, as I studied the book of James, I knew clearly God was telling me to bridle my tongue. This saved me immensely.

This memory flashed back and I feel it's for someone here.

Sis, be conscious in making your words align with your prayers and the word of God.

Words are so powerful!!!

You just prayed last night for a new job, it's 8am now and you're saying "I''ll never find a good job."

Lord give me new ideas for my business, next second, you're like "nothing good will ever come out of me. "

During your morning devotion, you prayed, "Oh God bless me and settle me on all sides", before 2:00pm same day, you're saying, "this abundance and blissful life is not for me."

Life and death are in the power of your tongue...

Don't let the devil get you to work for him in destroying your life.

Pay attention to those idle words.

Those jokes that seem harmless, when you subtly try so hard to hide your kindness, sweetness and godliness just to fit in.

Bridle your tongue!

Life and death are right before you, choose wisely.

Shalom.

You stopped praying… Not because you stopped believing, but because it hurts too much to hope again.

You once prayed with faith. You fasted. You declared.
You believed. And nothing happened… at least not the way you asked.

So you closed the journal. You let the fire die down. You started to wonder if Heaven was silent… or if it was just you.

But hear this in your spirit: God never forgot. Not the tear you cried when no one saw. Not the whisper you breathed when your chest was too heavy to speak. Not the broken “God, please…” that never even made it past your lips.

Psalm 56:8 says,
“You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle.”

Nothing was wasted.

Not one sigh. Not one midnight breakdown. Not one time you almost gave up, but didn’t.

And now?
He’s calling you back to the place where the flame went out. Not to shame you… But to rekindle something holy.

Because there’s still power in your voice.
Still oil on your sound.
Still heaven-shaking authority in your whisper.

So pray again. Not because it’s easy. Not because you feel spiritual, but because something shifts when you speak again.

Even if you feel nothing, pray again.
Even if all you have is tears, pray again.
Even if your words are messy, pray again.

Because when you do… Hell backs out. Heaven leans in. And something sacred starts to break open again.

You are not too late.
You are not too empty.
You are not too broken.

You are just in position to pray like you’ve never prayed before.

So pray again.

It Was Not Your Fault

Abuse and trauma were never your choice. Many of us grew up carrying guilt and shame from experiences we had little or no control over.

As we journey through life, mistakes may happen, even in adulthood. But those moments do not define you, nor do they cancel your worth.

Healing does not come from replaying the past or blaming yourself.

Healing begins when you allow yourself grace; when you choose forgiveness, release the hurts and find the courage to rebuild the kind of life you want.

God never blames the wounded. Jesus came for the sick and the broken. His heart is gentle toward those who are hurting. So lay down the condemnation and receive His love.

There is still hope.
There is still light ahead.

Your story is not beyond God’s restoring power.
God wants you healed and joyful.

Heal.
Live.
Love.

Sis, your problems does not separate you from God's love.

On the contrary, He wants you to find succour in His presence, dwell there and allow Him to create a safe place for you to rest, breathe, heal and be whole again.

The safest place to find healing is in God's presence.

You are safe with Him.
No more running, rest.
You're always worth more!

Shalom

A new year brings fresh decisions, renewed vision, and purposeful plans.

It presents us with an opportunity to launch boldly and to soar.
Yet, while it is up to man to plan his course, it is the empowerment of the Holy Spirit that sustains the journey and brings those plans to completion.

So yes;
Do the work.
Be disciplined.
Build the vision board.
But above all, commit your plans and pathways to God.

As you set big goals for your finances, relationships, career, marriage, and personal growth, do not neglect what matters most; your inner healing, spiritual alignment, and consistent fellowship with God.

Because true progress begins within.

Heal.
Live fully.
Love deeply.

Shalom!

Something profound happened to me some weeks ago...

For days, I had been dealing with a particular challenge.

I went to bed talking about it, woke up thinking about it, and shared it with anyone willing to listen.

Then, as I moved around one afternoon, a thought struck me clearly;
“Edidiong, you’ve only been complaining about this issue, but you haven’t intentionally asked God for help or spoken to it in faith.”

Immediately, Matthew 21:21 came to mind;

“Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.”

I acted promptly. Few hours later I noticed that the situation didn't completely resolved yet, but something changed.

I was at peace.

The restlessness faded the moment I consciously handed it over to God.
Then came the wisdom to go through it.

So, in difficult and strategic moments, it’s not enough to only talk about the problem.

We must take charge, by faith and speak to it.

It's a new year, nothing will change if we only stop at murmuring and complaining.

Shalom.

Here’s one thing you should never do:

Don’t postpone your joy because of things that are yet to happen.

Delaying joy until life feels “perfect” only traps us in an endless cycle of waiting, heaviness, and emotional ups and downs.

God daily calls us to trust Him with the impossible and to rejoice in all things.

Rejoice, not just in the good days, not just when answers come, but even in the waiting and night season.

So sis, guard your joy fiercely. Don’t allow fear, delay, or uncertainty to steal what God has already given you.

We are called to live from joy, not merely happiness which depends on circumstances.

With God, you are never behind, never forgotten, and never too late.

Stay thankful.
Stay joyful.

Heal. Live. Love.
