3. Drainage Maintenance: Keep your surroundings clean and clear of debris that can block drainage systems. Don't consider this as the sole responsibility of government but a collective responsibility. A little effort goes a long way.

4. Emergency Kits: Communities should prepare emergency kits with essential supplies such as make shift tents for eventual displaced persons and first aid equipment for emergency response. You never know when they might be needed.

5. Support Vulnerable Persons: Look out for the elderly, children, and those with special needs in the areas where flood is anticipated to curtail mortality. We are a community, and we take care of each other.

6. Maintaining Proper Flow route: Identify water flowing routes and channels and make sure that they are maintain as no building or structure of any kind will be allowed to be erected there.
