🌊 Urgent Announcement: Perceived Flood in 12 Nigerian States 🌊
Dear friends and folllowers,
Following the recent crucial alert regarding the possibility of floods in 12 states across Nigeria. This is a wake-up call that demands our collective action and vigilance.

Now is the time to come together as one resilient force. Let's work hand in hand to prevent the devastating impact of floods across the federation.
Here is how we can make a difference:
1. Early Warning Systems: Stay tuned to official alerts and updates from NEMA and local authorities. Early warnings can save lives.
2. Community Preparedness: Educate your neighbors about flood risks and preparedness measures. The NGOs and CSOs should carryout awareness campaign in their respective target areas. Knowledge is our best defense.
3. Drainage Maintenance: Keep your surroundings clean and clear of debris that can block drainage systems. Don't consider this as the sole responsibility of government but a collective responsibility. A little effort goes a long way.
4. Emergency Kits: Communities should prepare emergency kits with essential supplies such as make shift tents for eventual displaced persons and first aid equipment for emergency response. You never know when they might be needed.
5. Support Vulnerable Persons: Look out for the elderly, children, and those with special needs in the areas where flood is anticipated to curtail mortality. We are a community, and we take care of each other.
6. Maintaining Proper Flow route: Identify water flowing routes and channels and make sure that they are maintain as no building or structure of any kind will be allowed to be erected there.
7. Collaboration: Communities should collaborate with Government Agencies such as NEMA, NIMASA, etc and NGOs with a view to putting all hands on the deck to curtail any possibility of untoward incidents.
At the end, I prayed that may Allah (SWT) Protect both the prone and non prone areas across the federation.
Remember, every action counts in our mission to protect our communities and our environment. Let's stay informed, stay safe, and stay united in the face of this challenge.
