The Medics In Tech Digital Health Academy (MIT-DHA) is a global on-demand learning platform designed to address the growing demand for digital health skills. We offer flexible, self-paced education for healthcare professionals, undergraduates, and tech enthusiasts, focusing on convenience and personalized career coaching. Our platform aims to eliminate barriers to upskilling in the digital health sector, enabling individuals to drive innovation and improve patient care without the constraints of traditional live online classes or rigid learning formats. Through the DHA online learning portal, we aim to train over 3,000 healthcare professionals and undergraduate students in foundational digital health literacy.

The first phase of MIT-DHA 1.0 was conducted as cohort-based learning and saw over 60 mainly African undergraduates and young practicing HCPs master various areas in digital health with outstanding testimonials.

MIT-DHA 2.0 promises to be even greater. It has been designed to be self-paced to allow more healthcare professionals access, in line with our mission to equip 3,000 healthcare professionals, healthcare students, and non-medics building in the health domain across Africa and beyond with the skills they need to thrive in the future of digital health. Medics In Tech aims to transform healthcare professionals and undergraduates into digital health literates, adopters, advocates, and innovators by providing cutting-edge digital health education, collaborative initiatives, and support.
