Suppositories are inserted directly into the a**s, to deliver medication straight to the piles – helping shrink them, soothe itching and relieve pain and discomfort. They’re most appropriate for internal piles, and can be used alongside creams and ointments.
Our suppositories range extends to Anusol™ Soothing Relief Suppositories with hydrocortisone to help reduce inflammation even faster.
How to Use:
-Wash the a**l area, and gently dry with soft towel before using this medicine.
-Remove plastic cover from the suppository before use.
-The suppository will melt after insertion.
-Wash your hands before and after using Anusol™.
Ointment is very similar to creams, but differ in their consistency and feel. Because they’re a tad greasier, you may find they help relieve sore, dry skin, too.
Anusol™ Ointment is for topical use only, which means it is applied directly to the affected area. To use, simply rub the ointment directly onto the outside of your a**s. Anusol™ Ointment also has lubricating properties for use alongside suppositories.
The Anusol™ range also includes Soothing Relief Ointment with hydrocortisone to help reduce inflammation.
How to Use:
• For external piles – Wash the a**l area with gentle soap, and dry it with a soft towel, then gently apply the cream to the affected area.
• For internal piles – Wash and dry the affected area, screw the nozzle provided onto the tube and remove the nozzle cap. Insert the nozzle into the back passage and squeeze gently. Clean the nozzle after each use.
• Wash your hands before and after using Anusol™.
