1) Never think your boss likes you more than other workers. Your boss only likes what you do for them.
2) Everyone in your workplace should not access your social media accounts, including WhatsApp status. Block some of them.
3) As a lady working in a maIe dominated space, don't always volunteer for office duties like sweeping or cleaning. Make room for the males to do them too, or you'll always be the one doing it.
4) Don't have s€xx with your colleagues. Most times it leads to see finish.
5) What you can't discuss with your boss, don't discuss with colleagues. They might use it against you someday. Some of them might be informants.
6) While you're working, have a backup plan in case you're dismissed tomorrow. Don't depend solely on your job while neglecting other sources of income else termination could send you to the scratch.
7) Be nice to the cleaners, gate men and drivers. They could show up for you when you least expect it.
8) When you want to involve in a long conversation over the phone, go to a private place and pick the call. Don't disturb others with long conversation. When you want to watch a movie, use ear piece.
9) When two senior colleagues are quarreling, don't take sides, stay neutral. Otherwise when they reconcile, you could face issues.
10) Document everything, keep records, take notes. Nobody is your friend.
11) Be mindful of the things you sháre in WhatsApp group chat.
12) Your colleagues should not know too much about you.
13) Don't be a worker who's always annoying maybe because of the way you talk or handle issues. Being likeable at your work place is an advantage. It can help you grow faster than just working hard. It can also help you gain favours.
14) Avoid séIIing to your colleagues, they may hardly pay. Avoid lénding money too.
15) Don't act too smart in the presence of your senior colleagues or boss. Acting too smart might attract énvy and other issues. Sometimes behave like you don't know and ask questions.
16) If the environment is too tóxic and you can't condone it anymore, leave. Your life, physical and mental health are important. Some people resign from their job not because of low pay but due to the level of tóxicity.
