he National Youth Council of Nigeria( Rivers State Chapter), paid a courtesy visit to explore possible collaboration with the Rivers State Ministry of Health. They proposed working together on public sensitization and awareness campaigns about prevalent health issues in the state, such as HIV/AIDS, malaria, tuberculosis, and substance abuse. The council also offered to volunteer their manpower to support health initiatives through programs, seminars aimed at educating the public. It is of great importance that we continue to address the issues facing the youths on drug abuse. I was honored to be part of the workshop opening on war against drug abuse and prevention as I addressed the youths on the dangers of drug abuse at the Ministry of Health Rivers State, emphasizing its harmful effects on health and society. I encourage the young people to stay drug-free to achieve their full potential and contribute positively to the nation. The government pledges support and urges collective action for a drug-free future, offering resources to those in need.
