Today been 9th OCTOBER,2023, The Management of yobe state specialist Hospital Potiskum received the Director General of National primary health care Management agency and his entourage. He was humbly received by the Permanent secretary ministry of health, ES primary health care, Medical Director (YSSHP),Head of Administration and General Service (YSSHP),HOD Nursing CMAC, and other staff of the hospitals along with other NGO's.
Upon their arrival, the Entourage has inspect the Isolation center within the specialist Hospital Potiskum to see the patients affected by the pandemic outbreak known as Diptheria.
The DG has also showned his appreciation to the management of the hospital the way they handle the patients with all necessary needs especially the consumables drugs and keeping the isolation center in hygienic and conducive environment.
The DG has also praised the the yobe state government on their commitments for providing all the necessary needs to the hospital for proper usage.

The Management of Yobe State Specialist Hospital Potiskum, has today received dignitaries in order to inspect the Isolation center for Flagging off the newly Renovated and equipped by UNICEF center. On arrival, the team was received by the Medical Director and his head of administration and general services.
The team inspected the facility to see the level and standard of care provided within the organization to supervise the facility inorder to ensure a hitches Free service delivery to the patients.
Dr. Lawan Gana was accompanied by permanent secretary ministry of Health, Executive secretary primary health care Management board, Executive secretary Hospital management Board, DPM Hospital management Board, Director nursing services,Director primary health care potiskum, Non governmental organization such as UNICEF and world health organization.
The team lauds the efforts of the management and staff of the facility for their commitments to quality service delivery.
The team ,also call on the management and staff of the hospital to be responsible in discharging their duties and ensure proper utilisation of the equipments provided in the facility by His Excellency the executive Governor Hon. Mai Mala Buni CON.
