A summary of the Passion of Christ, the loci of all suffering and its redemptive presuppositions and finding God.
*It is a crime for your state to deny you justice willingly.
A shame for your traditions to cast you aside
A fallacy for the very society you actively cultivated and made better to give you the middle finger.
A heart break for your faith to crush you.
A tragedy for your friends who turned family to betray you.
An agony for all the above to happen at once.
Nothing gets more hellish than that in spite of your righteousness - because of your righteousness.
Christ the logus was betrayed by the state (Pilate), Tradition (King Herod), Society (the chanting crowd), faith (Sanctimonious Pharisees- custodians of the faith), friends turned family (Peter and Judas)
At the zenith, the suffering was enough as to make God question His existential characteristics (the Elohim Cry), yet amidst all that He aligned with the best possible good, forgiveness and intercession for all his tormentors
He received the greatest spite, being punished in spite of being good, no more succinctly punished for being the very good the world hungers for.
The best possible man receiving the worst possible punishment whilst substituting the worst possible man Barabbas.
Yet amidst all that He aligned himself with the ultimate good, deservingly establishing himself as the embodiment of the truest way of being.
What is God?
God is the subtotal of the highest good (in ethnical realm).
Board a car and travel up the road of goodness, your final destination is God
And the converse takes you to hell.
The Passion amongst many things illustrates his presence even in the sum total of all human suffering.
So whatever situation you find yourself in, if your heart longs for, align yourself with the smallest possible good you can find and travel up that road into the embrace of God
This is the Antidote to Hell, Nihilism and a tragic well lived Life
Good Friday
