CONTINUATION. (The mysterious witch of Ashwood)

The door opened, and a tall man stood there. Lily felt a little scared. Elara looked surprised.

"Malakai!" she said. "I thought you were far away."

Malakai smiled and looked at Lily. "I've come for the girl," he said. "She has something special."

Lily wondered what she had that Malakai wanted. Elara stood up straight and said, "Tell me what you want with her."

Malakai's eyes sparkled. "We'll see about that," he said mysteriously.

Elara stood protectively in front of Lily. "You can't just take her without telling me why," she said firmly.

Malakai chuckled. "Oh, Elara, always so protective. Very well, I'll tell you. The girl has a special gift. And I need it to help someone very important."

Lily's eyes widened. "What gift?" she asked curiously.

Malakai's gaze fell on her. "You'll find out soon enough," he said with a smile.

Suddenly, a loud noise came from outside. It sounded like thunder, but it was getting closer. Elara's eyes locked onto the window.

"It can't be," she whispered. "Not now."

The window burst open, and a strong wind blew into the room. Malakai's eyes gleamed with excitement.

"It seems our conversation has attracted some attention," he said. "We'd better get out of here, now."

In a village called Ashwood, there lived a kind witch named Elara. She lived in a cozy cottage on the edge of the village. One stormy night, a girl named Lily went to visit Elara. Lily's mom was sick, and she hoped Elara could help.

When Lily arrived, Elara smiled and said, "I've been waiting for you." Elara made some special tea and said she could help Lily's mom, but it wouldn't be easy.

Elara lit some candles and said some magic words. The room started to glow. Suddenly, there was a loud knock at the door! Elara looked surprised and a little worried. The door opened by itself!

"Who could that be?" Lily wondered. Elara looked serious. "It looks like we've got some unexpected visitors..."
