🖊️Folic acid is a pregnancy superhero! Taking a prenatal vitamin with the recommended 400 micrograms (mcg) of folic acid before and during pregnancy can help prevent birth defects of your baby's brain and spinal cord. Take it every day and go ahead and have a bowl of fortified cereal, too.

🖊️ *WHEN SHOULD I START FOLIC ACID?*
Birth defects occur within the first 3-4 weeks of pregnancy. So it's important to have folate in your system during those early stages when your baby's brain and spinal cord are developing.

If you talked to your doctor when you were trying to conceive, they probably told you to start taking a prenatal vitamin with folic acid.
✨One study showed that women who took folic acid for at least a year before getting pregnant cut their chances of delivering early by 50% or more.

✨What Is Jaundice?✨

🖊️When red blood cells die, they leave behind bilirubin, a yellow-orange pigment in the blood. The liver filters bilirubin from the bloodstream to be removed in your stool. If too much is in your system or your liver is overloaded, it causes a buildup known as hyperbilirubinemia. This causes jaundice, where your skin and the whites of your eyes look yellow.

🖊️Newborn babies often get it. About 60% have jaundice, within the first couple of days after birth, if not treated it can cause permanent brain damage to your baby.

🖊️See a doctor right away if you see such color with your child. It could be a symptom of a liver problem or blood problem when the red cell is broken, or gallbladder problem.

✅Limit your child's exposure to Irritants.

Avoid using products that have a strong scent or that have irritated your child in the past, including paint, perfume, scented candles, or air fresheners. Wood-burning stoves and fireplaces can also trigger symptoms in some people; avoiding them can help prevent symptoms.

👨🏿‍⚕️dDOCTOR OF BABIEs👨🏿‍⚕️

*What is human papillomavirus (HPV)?*
✅Human papillomavirus (HPV) is a common virus that can affect different parts of your body. There are over 100 types of HPV, including strains of HPV that cause warts on your hands, feet, face, etc. About 30 HPV strains can affect your ge****ls, including your v***a, va**na, cervix, p***s and sc***um, as well as your re**um and a**s.

✅HPV that affects your ge****ls is a sexually transmitted infection (STI) that gets passed through skin-to-skin contact. Many people cringe at the thought of STIs, but the majority of ge***al HPV strains are harmless. This includes the type of HPV that causes ge***al warts.

✅Some strains of HPV are high-risk and can lead to cancers, like cervical cancer. Early detection and treatment can usually prevent this from happening.

✨SICKLE CELL
AWARENESS MONTH✨

🖊️During a normal er****on blood flows into the p***s and it becomes rigid. After ej*******on hormones are released which allow the blood to drain. If sickled red blood cells cause a blockage, the blood cannot drain, and the p***s stays erect.

🖊️How to increase blood flow to pennis naturally?

1. Eat a Healthy Diet.
2. Focus on a diet rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins.
3. Stay Hydrated. Dehydration can reduce blood volume and affect blood flow throughout the body.
4. Maintain a Healthy Weight and reduce Stress
