ABOVE DEPRESSION

Depression period can be very challenging. Depression is a subtle life ender. An escalation can cause unbearable episodes. Like the serpent, you don't hear its footsteps, so, you have to be on the lookout to discern its manipulative tendencies.

Depression can keep a person quiet because it seeks to end the individual through thoughts of su***de or chronic physical illness. It makes you feel like if you share your feelings you will be misunderstood and misjudged. It tells you there's no need to seek help because you know you should be the one proffering solutions to others instead.

Depression tells you "no one understands your plight and they never will. Stay quiet and lock up". Often, it makes its victim refuse to reason like "I may be taking the wrong steps". Depression attracts other mental & emotional illnesses like anxiety, worry and defiance which can lead to antipathy. Such a point suggests there's an urgent need to focus on mindset.
