See who got the Nurse of year Award

I am truly humbled and honored to accept the Nurse of the Year award at the African Health Summit in Ireland, 2023 organised by Association of Nigerian Nurses In Ireland
for positive impact in nursing through Advocacy, Mentorship and Research.

This recognition is not just a testament to my dedication and passion for nursing, but also a celebration of the hard work and commitment of all nurses, especially those from the African community, who contribute tirelessly to healthcare excellence.

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the organizers for this incredible opportunity to showcase the vital role of nurses in shaping the healthcare landscape. Our collective efforts have made a difference in the lives of countless patients and communities, and I'm proud to be part of such a remarkable profession.

I must acknowledge the unwavering support of my colleagues, mentors, and family, who have encouraged and inspired me throughout my career. Their guidance and encouragement have been invaluable in my journey as a nurse. Thank you

Not Everyone Could Be A Volunteer!!

It actually takes a person with a selfless heart to sacrificially spend their precious time, render help with their hard-earned acquired skills, or sometimes give their resources to others in dire need without them being recognised or paid in return.

God bless whosoever created the INTERNATIONAL VOLUNTEERS DAY!

RespoHealth Africa is building the first and brand new integrated healthtech development specifically for the Elderly in Africa. Care package launching 2023

This will be a ‘one stop’ hub where the elderly can access high-quality care and services seven days a week close to where they live making it more accessible, convenient and easier for the vulnerable elderly.

It will bring together a mix of health and care professionals in a multi diverse way to promote more joined-up working between the hospitals, private and public, the community health centers, and voluntary and community organisations .

This is an important part of our wider plan to provide Promoting Responsive healthcare for the Elderly in Africa with aims to:

✅ helping all our elderly to stay healthy and well
✅ enabling the provision of health and care services, in the right places, when they are needed even to the unreached elderly
✅ reducing pressure on hospitals so they so that people can access a wider range of services out of hospital settings

The Integrate Care Hub will be a brand new package that will provide joined-up health and care services for the elderly in Africa including the unreached.

We are looking for partners, hospitals healthcare organisations, government and non-governmental organisations to achieve this vision for improving the health and wellbeing of Elderly in Africa, through greater integration and partnership working.

Christmas usually brings up thoughts of family and friends joyfully celebrating, swapping presents, laughter and great food. But it will be a dreaded time for thousands of seniors alone this year.
For the one in four that struggle with loneliness, Christmas is far from ‘the most wonderful time of the year’. In fact, whilst their neighbours are revelling in seasonal belonging, for many of our treasured seniors it’s the worst and most isolating time of the year - not a single visitor and no one to share greetings with at Christmas time.

You can help through our Christmas package for the Elderly campaign RespoHealth Africa, which encourages individuals, businesses and communities to extend festivities to those who may be alone.

A beautiful hamper to open on Christmas Day – hand-delivered where possible with time for a chat
A handwritten card from a member of the community to show the recipient they care
A phone call on Christmas Day from a specially selected elf or fairy, ready to spread Christmas cheer.
