I don’t know who needs to hear this but…
one random fact about most PCOS girlies is that we’re actually nocturnal 😭

Because tell me why…

I got back from work tired, already planning to just lie down small…
next thing, I’ve rearranged the entire house.

Not even small arranging o.
Proper moving things, cleaning corners I’ve been ignoring for weeks 😭

I’ve ironed HALF of my wardrobe...half!
Who sent me???

I even stood at one point just looking around like…
“what else can I do again?” 😂

My eyes now went to the compound gate…
and for a second I was actually considering washing it...😭😅 Not really though but you get?

Now I’m here… wide awake… reading a book like I have an exam tomorrow.

Meanwhile, this SAME me…
this exact human being…
had to DRAG herself out of bed this morning.

Alarm was sounding like it was fighting for its life.
Zero motivation
Everything felt heavy
I was even questioning my entire existence small 😭

But now???
Energy is overflowing.
Brain is active.
Body is cooperating.

Same day...same person...completely different version.

At this point, I’ve accepted it…
we’re not morning people abeg.

If you need us, check by 9pm.
That’s when we come alive 😂

Please tell me I’m not the only one like this 😭😅

To manage PCOS, you have to look at your;
Diet
Exercise
Supplement
Stress management

Birth control didn’t fix your PCOS. It simply pressed pause on the symptoms.

For many women, that pause feels like relief…your cycle becomes “regular,” your skin may clear, the pain reduces and for a moment, it feels like things are finally under control.

But when you stop, everything can come rushing back.
Sometimes even more intense than before and it’s confusing because you thought it was getting better.

The truth is, birth control doesn’t address the root causes of PCOS.
It doesn’t fix insulin resistance.
It doesn’t calm underlying inflammation.
It doesn’t rebalance your hormones long term.
It only manages symptoms while you’re on it.

So when it’s removed, your body goes back to what it was struggling with before… sometimes after being suppressed for so long.

This is not to shame anyone for using birth control.
For some women, it’s a necessary and valid choice.
But you deserve full information.

Managing PCOS goes deeper than symptom control.
It involves understanding your body (your hormones, your metabolism and your triggers)
- Supporting your body with the right nutrition
- Balancing blood sugar
- Reducing inflammation
- Managing stress and sleep
- Moving your body in a way that works with your hormones

PCOS management is holistic.

“What would you do if you were diagnosed with PCOS?”

I’ve thought about this a lot…

And honestly?

I’d allow myself feel it first...the confusion, the fear...the “why me?” moments.

Because PCOS(Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) can be overwhelming but I won’t stay there.

Here’s what I’d do next (and what I’m already doing as a PCOS warrior 😄):

I’d stop seeing PCOS as just a “period problem”
Because it’s deeper than that.

I’d start asking real questions:
👉 What’s happening inside my body?
👉 What’s the root cause (insulin resistance, stress, inflammation?)

Because managing symptoms is not the same as understanding your body.

Then, I’d get intentional with my life:

✍️ I’d eat in a way that supports my hormones (not starve or follow trends)
✍️ I’d move my body consistently (not punish it)
✍️ I’d manage stress like my hormones depend on it (because they do)
✍️ I’d take my supplements and treatment seriously
✍️ I’d stop comparing my journey to another woman’s

And yes… I might still use medication if I need it but I won’t rely on it alone. Because healing PCOS requires more than just prescriptions, it requires a holistic approach.

And most importantly? I’d be kind to myself because this journey is not linear and I deserve grace while figuring it out.

So if you’ve been diagnosed with PCOS…It's not the end of the world...You just need the right knowledge, the right support, and a plan that works for YOU

Now tell me…

If you were diagnosed with PCOS today, what would YOU do differently?
Or what has your journey taught you so far?

Supplements won't work if you don't take them the right way!

Some women overlook basic PCOS symptoms (irregular periods, acne, weight gain, fatigue, facial hair and fertility struggles) and the more you overlook or wave it off, the worse it gets.

Early diagnosis helps a lot.

‎You’ve tried the supplements
‎You’ve tried the diet
‎You’ve tried to “just lose weight.”
‎And somehow…
‎You still feel confused about your body.
‎
PCOS is not just irregular periods...It’s the silent frustration, the unexplained weight gain, the facial hair, the mood swings, the fertility fears no one talks about.
‎
And the worst part?
‎Most women are managing symptoms… without truly understanding what’s happening inside their hormones.
‎
That’s why I created this PCOS Class
‎Not just to “teach theory” but to help you understand:
‎ What’s really driving your PCOS
‎ How insulin resistance affects you
‎Why inflammation keeps you stuck
‎ How to eat in a way that supports YOUR hormones
‎What actually works long term
‎
‎If you’re tired of guessing and ready to manage your PCOS with confidence, this class is for you.

The reason why you have PCOS is because you are fat ❌❌❌

Please I want an honest answer, as someone who has PCOS, is it right to tell your suitor before marriage?

16/01/2026

Don't waive off that pain as normal because it's not.
