As a child, I wasn't able to hug and kiss my parents, not because I wasn't loved, but because their pattern of parenting was totally different.
I became a parent and understood the need to hug, cuddle, and kiss my children and tell them how much I love them at every opportunity I get. I don't miss hugging and kissing them each time I drop them off at school; today is another of those endless days of hugs.
