Do you know ?
The body produces it Vitamin D?
of course, it does...
Vitamin D is a fat soluble vitamins that helps in the absorption of calcium needed for bone growth, healing and immune system function and its deficiency can lead to poor bone formation in both adults and children.
Although it can be gotten from food sources such as fish(mackerel, salmon, tuna), egg yolk, cheese, milk, fortified cereals, beef liver and mushrooms, it can also be produced by the body through exposure to sunlight.
However the time of the day, amount of skin exposed and skin color are some of the factors that determines the quantity of Vitamin D a person gets from the sun.
