"Nurse I'm impotent, will my son also be impotent?", a member of my community asked

This may be the question on the mind of many who may be suffering from this condition also known as erectile dysfunction.

The fact is that impotence (erectile dysfunction) is not a hereditary condition.

It cannot be passed from father to son through genes.

Nevertheless, the medical conditions such as cardiac diseases or diabetes which are related and are risk factors to erectile dysfunction can be inherited.

Therefore, if an individual realizes that he has familial tendencies of certain conditions that predisposes to erectile dysfunction, he should do well to treat such.

Ever heard of s***m cramps?

S***m cramps, also known as testicular cramps or testicle pain, are a sudden, intense pain in the testicles that can vary in duration and intensity.

The pain can occur during s*xual arousal, ej*******on, or after s*x. The pain can range from mild to severe, and it can last from a few minutes to several hours.

What causes s***m cramps?

S***m cramps can be caused by a variety of factors with the most common cause being over-stimulation of the testicles during s*xual activity, which can cause muscle and nerve spasms that result in pain.

Added to the aforementioned, testicular torsion, epididymitis, varicocele, inguinal hernia and prostate problems can also be underlying factors.

To prevent s***m cramps, men practice moderation during s*xual activity, use proper lubrication during s*x, wear appropriate clothing that doesn't restrict blood flow to the testicles, maintain good hygiene and cleanliness of the ge***al area, practice safer s*x to prevent s*xually transmitted infections and reduce activities that can cause pressure or trauma to the testicles, such as cycling or horseback riding.

Treatment for s***m cramps depends on the underlying cause. In general, rest and gentle massage of the sc***um can help relieve pain and discomfort.

Although not always a cause for concern, s***m cramps can be an unpleasant and painful experience for men. Fortunately, they are usually preventable and treatable. Speak to a healthcare provider.

Every non-medical virgin can have cervical cancer

This is because cervical cancer is caused by the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) which is often s*xually transmitted

Yesterday someone in the Gig Community asked "if a surrogate mother had planned and agreed with a family to carry 3 babies for them, but on delivery, 5 healthy babies are discovered. Can the surrogate mother keep 2 of the babies or should she give them all to the family? (considering the "a lot" she went through pregnancy and all)"

The simple answer is NO

Here's the reason:

Firstly, the family or surrogate mother do not know how many babies the product of conception will be until after the embryo transfer.

Added to this, not more than 3 embryos is transferred but sometimes the embryo may be results in multiple babies as in this scenerio discussed resulting in 5 babies.

For this reason, the babies belongs to the family although the surrogate mom will be paid more than the initially agreed fee.

Another reason why the "extra" babies cannot be kept by the surrogate mom is the fact that she was paid to just be a "vessel or vehicle" as the egg used for conception were either from the parents or donors hence she cannot have a biological claim

Worthy of note also is the fact that Nigeria do not have a concrete legal framework for surrogacy

Notwithstanding, it's not illegal , it can be said to be more or less unregulated.

Females, one of the lips of your v***a can sometimes be larger than the other

Just like it can be found in the male te**es, this can also occur in women and it's normal

This phenomenon is called L***a Hypertrophy

It comes in many forms such as the l***a being enlarged, one lip might be larger than the other, or the l***a minora might extend down past the l***a majora.

L***al hypertrophy is harmless. It does not affect a woman’s s*x life and it is not a medical condition

Therefore when you look at your ge***al and see this "differences", don't panic

For today, I want you to keep this information at the back of your mind as you begin a new week.

You might have so much inadequacies, you might not have resources as the next person

Notwithstanding, your "inadequacies" is adequate and our "imperfections" is perfect.

Just like a singular te**is need to enlarge a little bit more than normal, sometimes your "inadequacies" might require you to work more or put in more effort.

Put in the effort needed but never forget that even in your supposed inadequacies, YOU ARE ENOUGH

Does size really matter?

How many times have you asked or been asked that question 🤔

Many female answer to this question as often been YES

Do they really understand the their ge***als and how the s*xual process happens?

The va**na is an elastic passage with the nerves by the wall of the passage

For pleasure to occur, the nerves in this walls have to be stimulated and this is rarely not dependent on the size but the girth

Many argue that the length will allow the manhood to reach "certain places" (A-spot and G-**ot) but where are this places and do length really help attain this?

Maybe you don't know so let's jump in and bust some myths as pertaining wet dreams or nocturnal emission

🤦🏿‍♂️ Wet Dreams Reduces S***m Count

Especially among adolescent, they tend to have anxiety that having nocturnal emission reduces their semen volume but this is totally false.

As a matter of fact, wet dreams help you body to pass out semen to make room for new ones

😉 Women Can Have Wet Dreams

This is totally true. They might even experience or**sm in the course of the wet dreams.

🤔 Wet Dream Reduces Immunity

This is false as there are no relationship between wet dreams and immunity.

🙂 Wet Dreams Only Happen During Puberty

This is not completely true. Wet dreams is very prominent during puberty because of the surge of hormones but that doesn't rule out it's occurrence in adulthood.

🙄 Wet Dream is a Sign of Illness

Wet dream is a normal process of the human body and does not signify illness.

😉 Ma********on Can Prevent Wet Dream

Although ma********on can reduce the amount of semen temporarily, there are no scientific evidence to show that it can prevent wet dreams.

People who ma******te can also wet dreams.

😃 Wet Dreams Will Shrink Your P***s

This is utterly false and maybe even ridiculous. The process of semen release has nothing to do with size of the p***s.

🥰 Everyone Have Wet Dreams

Although it's a natural process, it's not everyone that experiences wet dreams.

Some experience it only at puberty, others experience it sporadically during adulthood while some do not experience it at all.

It's perfectly normal.

😋 Wet Dreams Are Due to Erotic Dreams

This belief is very prominent is Nigeria and Africa.

Some even attribute it to spiritual spouses😂

Although it's possible to have erotic dreams while undergoing nocturnal emission, it is not very common.

There has been only one study to this effect which is highly debatable hence conclusion cannot be made.

Summarily, wet dreams or nocturnal emission is a very natural process and may even indicate that you are healthy "down there"

What if you didn't have to use pads, tampons or menstrual cup when you are menstruating?

How to prevent pregnancy by urinating after s*x

This tip is only for males because your urethra performs urinary and s*xual function - this means that urine and s***m pass through the same passage

Urine is acidic while s***m is alkaline

As a fact, we urinate more than we have s*x therefore the passage is always acidic and s***m cannot survive in an acidic environment.

For this reason, immediately you become aroused, a clear sticky-like fluid is secreted by the cowper's gland and becomes collected at the opening of the pe**le or***ce.

Asides making the urethral passage safe for the s***m to pass, it also acts as a natural lubricant on your part as a man and also help the s***m to transport faster.

This fluid is popularly called PRECUM but can also be called pre-ejaculate or pre-seminal fluid or cowper's fluid.

Can PRECUM cause pregnancy?

This has been a major controversy and the correct answer is YES and NO

While precum itself does not contain s***m, it can pick up any that might be left in the urethra as it is passing through

Therefore when the urethra is clear of any form of s***m cells, the precum cannot cause pregnancy, but if there be any remnants of s***m in the urethra, the precum while passing can transport it leading to pregnancy.

For this reason, urinating after every round of s*x becomes very important in pregnancy prevention especially for men who practice withdrawal method and do not use condom.

When this is done, the urethral passage becomes clear of s***m and the precum that is secreted does not contain any s***m cells and cannot cause pregnancy.

Poor people perform better s*xually than rich people

I know you will jump at me because you are rich😜 but don't worry, I'm rich too so it affects me😁

Therefore I have to rephrase, men who exercise perform better s*xually than men who don't exercise.

Many poor people exercise so much albeit most times it's unconsciously.

They have a very active lifestyle - in the course of hustling for their daily bread.

Due to the bulk of this manual labor, their cardiovascular system functions optimally and there's appropriate blood flow.

I can go into the intricacies that make this to be so but I'll just get straight to the point - s*x is a procedure of the cardiovascular system.

Blood flow through the body is one of the greatest determinant of s*xual performance.

Exercise therefore is one of the foremost things that strengthens the cardiovascular system therefore indirectly helping for optimal s*x performance.

The rich on the other hand most times have a less active to almost sedentary lifestyle.

They acquire the needed technologies that reduce their activeness and therefore makes them less active which does not strengthen their cardiovascular system.

Except they consciously exercise (which most don't) they stand a risk to develop cardiovascular problems which indirectly affects their s*xual performance.
