LETS TALK ABOUT OBESITY

Obesity is a medical condition in which excess body fat has accumulated to the extent that it may have an adverse effect on health leading to reduced life expectancy and/or increased health problem.

CAUSES
- Over eating
- Genetics
- Lack of physical activity
- Hormonal imbalance
- Insufficient sleep
- Using certain medicines
- Smoking
- Excess sweetened

COMPLICATONS
- Breathing disorder
- Diabetes
- Depression
- High blood pressure
- Joint disease
- High cholesterol
- Cancer such as breast, prostate, kidney colon cancer.
- Cardiovascular disease
- kidney disease
- Sleep Apnea.

MANAGEMENT
- Physical activity (exercising everyday)
- Control of pressure
- Dieting (a healthy diet)
- Avoid sugary drinks
- Portion control
- Make water your friend (drink more water a day)
- Avoid saturated and trans fat
- maintain a healthy BMI ratio
- Avoid alcohol intake
- Cessation of smoking
- Calorie restrictions if overweight
- High consumption of green leafy vegetables and fruit.

PREVENTION

Lets talk about Antibiotics abuse after s*x.

After s*x, you took Ampiclox or Doxyl or the almighty Azithromycin to protect you from infections right ?
What if the person has HIV, will the antibiotics protect you from that ? What of herpes or Hepatitis ?
What of other non bacterial infection?

This particular practice is very wrong. That’s antibiotic abuse for a start. Most of these antibiotics are not to be used for prophylaxis(prevention) to even start with. This practice promotes and results to Antibiotic Resistance which is a whole lot of trouble.

When you finally gets sick, Ampiclox or Doxyl or Azithromycin won’t work on you and you will need a higher and expensive antibiotics to attend to what minor and cheap antibiotics were able to handle.

Stop antibiotics abuse.
Stop abusing antibiotics.

If you can’t abstain from s*x until you are married, use CONDOM. Protect yourself. You are only deceiving yourself by taking antibiotics after s*x thinking it’s enough to protect you from whatsoever that is coming for you.

Keep cholesterol level under control to reduce the risk of heart disease and related kidney damage.
