NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION INTO THE ND/HND NURSING SCIENCES PROGRAMME
The Akwa Ibom State College of Nursing Sciences is pleased to announce the commencement of the application process for admission into the ND/HND Nursing Sciences Programme for the 2025/2026 academic session. All interested candidates are hereby informed that only those who meet the following requirements will be eligible to proceed with the application process:
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
JAMB UTME Score:
A minimum score of 180 in the 2025 JAMB UTME.
O’Level Requirements:
Credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics from WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB, obtained in not more than two sittings. NABTEB results cannot be combined with other examination results.
In addition, candidates must possess the following: FSLC, Certificate of Origin, Birth Certificate, and Change of Name (if applicable).
Other Conditions:
Candidates must have chosen Nursing Sciences as their course of study in the 2025 JAMB UTME.
Candidates must select one of the College’s campuses (Anua, Eket, Ikot Ekpene, Ituk Mbang, or Oron) as their first or second choice in the 2025 JAMB UTME.
All candidates are required to apply only once; duplicate applications will lead to disqualification.
All candidates must be 16 years of age or older by September 30, 2025.
Candidates must register with their own valid personal telephone (GSM) number and email address.
Only candidates who successfully complete the application stage and meet the initial requirements will be contacted via email.
All candidates are advised to regularly check their email inbox and spam folder for updates from the College.
Candidates must print the acknowledgement/screening test slip upon completion of the registration process to ensure eligibility for the screening exercise.
Screening and communication
Please Note: Registration is online; therefore, candidates are not required to be physically present on any campus but are advised to register from a location of their choice.
Candidates must bring their printed acknowledgement/screening test slip to the screening exercise venue as evidence of successful payment and registration.
Parents, guardians, and uninvited security agents will not be allowed on the screening exercise premises on the day of the screening.

ADMISSION DECISION
After the screening exercise, candidates who are offered admission will receive an official email of congratulations and instructions on how to complete their registration. Unsuccessful candidates will not be contacted further. Admission decisions are strictly based on merit and compliance with all requirements.

I have a minimum score of 180 in my 2025 JAMB UTME
I possess at least five (5) credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics from WAEC, NECO or NABTEB, obtained in not more than two sittings.
I also possess the following: FSLC, Certificate of Origin, Birth Certificate and Change of Name (if applicable).
I understand that I will be required to present physical evidence of these qualifications during the admission documentation stage.
I understand that a non-refundable registration fee is required for a successful application.
I understand that if I do not meet the admission requirements, I will not be offered admission, and I will not be entitled to any refund.
