Are you self motivated and passionate about healthcare management and ensuring patients receive top-quality services? Join Lakeland Specialist Clinic Ltd as an HMO Officer and play a pivotal role in coordinating and streamlining our health insurance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the primary liaison between the clinic and Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs).

Manage HMO claims, documentation, and reconciliation processes effectively.

Verify patient eligibility and ensure proper registration with HMOs.

Negotiate tariff with HMOs

Handle queries and complaints related to HMOs with professionalism and efficiency.

Maintain accurate records of all HMO transactions and agreements.

Collaborate with the finance department to ensure timely submission and approval of claims.

Ensure compliance with HMO policies and healthcare standards.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree, HND or OND in any discipline.

Minimum of 1 year of working experience.

Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with health insurance systems will be an added advantage.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

A self motivated, smart, diligent and dedicated individual with good interpersonal and communication skills, whose duty would be to coordinate the nursing unit of the hospital. She must possess the requisite knowledge and skills of a nurse and serve as a role model to her subordinates. She must be a good team player because she will work with other unit heads and the management to ensure the smooth running of the hospital. Must have at least six years working experience in similar position.
