Home Remedies for Swollen Feet
1. Elevate Your Feet:
How to Do It: Lie down and place your feet on a pillow or folded blankets, ensuring they are higher than your heart. Do this for 20-30 minutes several times a day.
2. Increase Your Movement:
How to Do It: Avoid sitting or standing for too long. Get up and walk around every hour. Do simple leg exercises and stretches.
3. Massage:
How to Do It: Use warm oil and gentle pressure to massage your feet from toes to ankles. Repeat daily or as needed.
4. Stay Hydrated:
How to Do It: Drink at least eight glasses of water a day. Increase intake if it's hot or if you're active.
5. Reduce Salt Intake:
How to Do It: Limit high-sodium foods and use herbs and spices instead of salt for seasoning.
6. Soak in Epsom Salt:
How to Do It: Fill a basin with warm water, add half a cup of Epsom salt, and soak your feet for 15-20 minutes. Do this a few times a week.
