Can you briefly introduce yourself?

My name is Randy Onuwaje Ejejigbe, I enjoy swimming and listening to music.

What are you currently up to (career-wise, passion project, side hustles):
I worked with a IHS towers Nigeria as an field engineer and then as acting Field manager, but I'm currently trying to navigate career change

How did your time at FUPRE shape who you are today?:
The experience and challenges in FUPRE helped to prepare me to be adaptable in a sense.

If you could relive one day at school, which would it be and why?:

Honestly one day would be too small to make the desired impact. But I'd say my Matric and I'd take more pictures with my friends and course mates. The reason is because now I think of the memories we made, but the faces don't really come to mind

Who were your favorite lecturers?:
Dr Tega former Electrical and Electronics lecturer.

What’s one unforgettable moment you had in school

The day MTN came to introduce MTN pulse in FUPRE and I lit up the dance floor, rocking those MTN dancers when other students were afraid of VC and other lecturers

What advice would you give to current students

Work hard on your academics and understand that it is the main reason you're there and connect with people because, in the end, meaningful friendships can mean a whole lot more

How do you stay in touch with The Itsekiri Fupre Alumni (TIFA)

I've not really been in touch with the alumni and I hope to change it

Fun or Surprising fact about you:

I dey dance wetin no good 😂

Favorite spot way back in FUPRE

I guess the Health Centre because of the free wifi then. During our time there wasn't much fun spot in the school then and data wasn't cheap then😂😂.

Computer Science

Currently in the movie industry as a production manager/film archivist and animator

During my time in Fupre, I met the most amazing people

My favorite lecturers were Dr Ojugo and Efe

My advice to current students is to make meaningful connections and try to build a business now, while in school.

After graduating, I took an advance course in production management
In the Multichoice talent factory professionals program and that had really helped me.

I plan to give back to my Alma mater by providing opportunities for scholarship programs.

A fun fact about me is that I love God

FUPRE prepared me for the struggle of adulthood honestly. If you go through FUPRE, be rest assured you are a very hard-working person.

Class of Alumnus: 2016

Course of Study:
Physics
Can you briefly introduce yourself?

Hi, My name is Mrs. Olaosun Ereoritsetomi Favour and I’m a proud Itsekiri daughter and a graduate of the great Federal University of Petroleum Resources Effurun (FUPRE), Class of 2016. I studied Physics and like many of us, I’ve been finding my way in this ever dynamic world. I’m passionate, resilient, and God-centered.

What are you currently up to (career-wise, passion project, side hustles)?

In this country where we find ourselves, we make do with the opportunities available or those that pay better at the moment. So currently, I’m a BANKER. Not what I studied, but definitely a role that has stretched and developed me in many ways.

How did your time at FUPRE shape who you are today?

My experience at FUPRE wasn’t easy at all but we pushed through.

If you could relive one day at school, which would it be and why?

I’d start afresh and have fun along the way. All work and no play really makes Jack a dull boy. If I could do it again, I’d learn to balance the hustle with enjoyment.

Who were your favorite lecturers?

Without question, my Godfather and our Honorable Vice Chancellor, Prof. Agbalagba. He’s still a father figure to me till today.

What advice would you give to current students?

Your 100 level and 200 level results matter a lot, so don’t take them lightly, build your CGPA early. Most importantly, make God your number one. He’s the real plug.

How do you stay in touch with The Itsekiri FUPRE Alumni (TIFA)?

I’ve been away for a while, but I hope to reconnect fully and give my all again when the opportunity comes.

Fun or Surprising Fact about You:

Though everyone has their flaws, I’m genuinely the sweetest person you’ll ever come across.

Favorite spot way back in FUPRE:

Lol! I’m a 💯 introvert. After class, it was straight to the hostel. No detours!

If I could relieve one day at school, I'll choose the day NAIS had her first cultural day in the school premises.
