Thinking back to those days when my dad always remind us to lock our doors when entering the house

And now I see my younger siblings always doing this safety rules when I visited my parents today

Those days my dad would always south at us to always lock the door after us.

He also said we must always thoroughly check the door locks before going to bed everyday

At first we thought my dad was exaggerating things but now I know better . Now I know the importance of being security conscious around your home

Those days we would be ppu0r.n!!$hed if we fail to abide by the rules and because of that we always locked our house at the appropriate time.

Overtime, I got used to it that my husband would jokingly say that I'm a chief security officer of our house

I never completely understood the importance of what my dad was trying to teach us until one day, a neighbour who was a few houses away from mine got robbed of his money and motorcycle

All because, he forgot to lock his gate before going to bed

When we heard the news in the morning, the whole thought of all what my dad was saying to us those days came rushing back to me

And at that moment, I was so grateful for having a father who could teach his children good values of life.

I was like "thank you daddy for your great advice"

Sometimes, parents may try to teach their children some good values.

But some children might not take those teachings seriously until something relating to it comes their way

So tell me if there's anything your parents might have told you while growing up that has helped you to make the right decision in life

Ella wants to have her first sleep over!

Or so I thought. But this girl has her own way of doing this sha

She was playing with Lisa, her sisters and brother at their place until it was dark and it got to a time they all wanted to go to bed

But our aunty said she will not come back home. So they decided to inform me

At first, I hesitated but later, agreed though I was very reluctant.

So they took her to their house. Not up to thirty minutes later, someone knocked on my door not knowing it was Lucia, Lisa's younger sister

She brought Ella back to our house because, according to her, Ella was c*ying that she wants to see her baby sister Elsa and her mummy

I was like " okay then let me take her back". I stretched my hands to her but our aunty no gree o. She said she wants to go back with Lucia

My dears I agreed o. And they went back.

Then, just after fifteen minutes, they came back again with the same complain. This was this continued for sometime until, I got tired of all the back and forth

So I made a decision. Lucia should go home without her. She no go c*y bl@ I said to myself

If you see the c*y that followed after that decision I made ehn, e for remain for the house to f@!! down o
