🔟 Years a Chiropractor

June 19, 2015 — the day I graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. It marked the official start of my journey as a chiropractor.

Shortly after, I packed my bags and moved across the ocean to Amsterdam — bright-eyed, full of dreams, and ready for an adventure.

Fast forward to today: it’s been 10 years in this profession, and 3 years since I opened Chiro Moments. What a unbelievable ride it’s been. I’m endlessly grateful for the trust, conversations, and healing moments shared with each of you.

Thank you for being part of this chapter. I’m excited to see what the next 10 years will bring. 💫

Wat zijn trigger points?

• Triggerpoints, ook wel bekend als spierknopen, zijn lokale verkrampingen in de spieren.

• Door deze spierspanning ontstaat er een verminderde doorbloeding en een tekort aan zuurstof wat je vaak kunt voelen als een harde bobbel of strakke streng in de spier.

• Een triggerpoint kan pijn uitstralen naar een ander deel van het lichaam, soms op een heel andere plek dan waar de knoop zich bevindt.

Vanzelfsprekend wordt bij de behandeling van een baby rekening gehouden met de kwetsbaarheid. De chiropractische behandeling van baby’s is veilig en bestaat uit zachte druktechnieken en lichte mobilisatie technieken. De druk die gebruikt wordt is niet meer dan de druk die comfortabel voelt op je oogbol.
