It’s not that triggers are bad, they actually give you an opportunity to observe and reflect, which enables you to heal.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

By allowing yourself to become aware of these triggers and feel your vulnerability you move closer to your true self.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

👉 Find the “why”⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We think other people are triggering us, but they’re just holding mirrors up to our own triggers. For every emotional reaction, there is an underlying root cause. Acknowledging and letting go of guilt, anger, and the stories you tell yourself brings you up to courage and, with that, finally acceptance and an inner peacefulness.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Fear and depression is a results from resisting the part of yourself that is loving, courageous, and great.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Letting go is an art, and like any other art you have to practise it. Self-awareness is your key and with evey time to become better at it, cause you learn how to own your worth. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

The 3 steps of letting go: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

1. Recognise⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Ask yourself what am I feeling?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
What am I trying to let go of?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2. Run to it not from it⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We became so good in distracting that we got numb towards our feelings until our body starts screaming. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So we invite you to sit still everyday for min 10min and see what comes up. Simply breathe and connect with your heart.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3. Give it space⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Can you allow the grief to just be there?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
To just sit with it and breathe with it. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Ask yourself: Could I let this go? Would I let this go? Can I let it go? You become aware of the actual resistance (which is often the repressed emotion beneath like grief, guilt, fear...) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
You probably think "This is too simple". But this could be your resistance coming up. Thinking that it has to be hard to make a change. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you never sit with your feelings. All these emotions will store up in your body creating stories like "things have to be hard" and your body reacts to this suppression with illness and anxiety. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

For a long time, we’ve believed this to be true too. Nowadays, it makes us sad to see women starving or pushing themselves to the point of physical exhaustion because they aren’t happy with their bodies and want to ‘fit in’. 😤⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I recently heard a woman proudly declaring she skipped every lunch while bearing a child. It brought me to tears. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

It’s cruel to expect our bodies can handle such pressure and stay or get slim & healthy. You cannot keep increasing energy output while decreasing your fuel intake. 😰⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

🤯 We ended stuck feeling disconnected, emotionally & physically burned out by taking the responsibility around us, ignoring our needs, controlling everything or making ourselves small. �⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But then life served us with loving relationships on eye-level where we felt save & seen and we learned that taking full responsibility means to communicate our feelings, thoughts, wants, and needs with respect and love. 👩‍❤️‍💋‍👩⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Ironically, taking responsibility for how YOU actually feel and what YOU actually want as well as taking responsibility for how YOU are keeping yourself in a situation where you feel victimized or controlling is the first step to personal empowerment.�� 🦋⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
