Rotator Cuff Risks
The rotator cuff is a common problem area located in our shoulder. Due to the numerous muscles and tendons in the shoulder, the rotator cuff is prone to injury. If your rotator cuff is injured, you will feel a dull pain in the shoulder. Without proper treatment, this pain will worsen. Eventually, shoulder movement will become painful, forcing you to keep it still. However, this may lead to muscle weakness. If you have previously injured your shoulder or if your shoulder is frequently under strain (as is common with athletes), the risk of problems is higher.
